SUSTAINABILITY AND THE GROWTH OF ISGC
Our society was established in 1948, more than 70 years ago, a real achievement in its own right. The ISGC Board is responsible for keeping the society sustainable into the future. Although, we are blessed with a small treasury, experience has shown that if we hoard these funds, we will retain the treasury, but our membership will decline. We have proven that judicious use of funds results in society growth. We are currently paying for advertisements in The American Philatelist and other publications and are increasing our presence on social media including Facebook and YouTube. Funds are needed to support improvements in our website, and enhanced presence at stamp shows. Current income, from membership dues and auction proceeds do not cover these expenses. To remain sustainable we must raise additional funds.

One of our members has offered a $1000 matching grant to spur our new fundraising efforts. Now would be a good time to don
